Hello beloved!

I’m just gonna cut right to the chase, I have 10 fun, quick social media tips to get your name out there and your message heard.

Some of these you may have heard, but it’s always good to be reminded, and please drop any of your own down in the comment section below.

10. Like your own stuff yes, I said it like your own stuff like your own posts like your own comments like your own stuff!!! It’s a guaranteed Like, it helps with the algorithm, and most importantly, don’t you like it?! Of course, you like it! So, like it!

9. Consume the content your Target audience is already consuming but not just related to your niche, learn as much as you can from that content. Things like what is working, what isn’t, the look & feel of the content and trends are a few things you should be mindful of.

8. Read the comments section, like as many comments that align with your brand values and once in a while, comment a meaningful comment on a comment. Remember, spam is bad for yo, mmmkey? ( Any southpark lovers? ;) ) DON’T advertise yourself in the comments section! Don’t send them to your website/profile/linktree/etc! It’s disrespectful to the creator and to their audience, Imagine Britney Spears singing “Just for the taste of it” during the Pepsi Superbowl Halftime Show. The best ‘advertising’ is demonstrating your value, use the comments section wisely to spark conversation, empower, or inspire. When you comment genuinely, and give value there is more chance they will want to check out your profile.

7. Add love to every interaction. Love is the most powerful force of all and when you give love, you get it back. Focus on the things you love. When you go around the internet like a carebear and spray love and support it makes you feel great, makes others feel great and is a natural way to gain brand awareness and loyalty.

6. Share other people’s content, but don’t steal it! It’s good to sprinkle other people’s content that inspired you into your weekly content strategy. This can be good for a few reasons, it’s a very easy piece of content to create, it empowers others, people love to binge and they also love to explore new related content, so when your followers feel like switching things up they will know you have them covered. Many times You will get a ‘spill’ of that content’s traffic, especially on platforms with a tagged tab, like on IG, so once you share the post and TAG the creator, your posts appear on their ‘tagged’ tab. Another reason why it’s good to share posts, is because like in SEO it helps affirm your niche to the algorithm, so there are more chances you will show up on related feeds.

5. Like and respond to all of the comments made to you, be it comments on your comment or comments on your content. Even if someone comments an emoji, like their comment, comment one back and like your comment. I will only comment on the first comment, so if someone comments a smiley emoji, I can comment a smiley and a flower, but if they respond to that with another emoji just like that comment and break the comment pingpong. On some platforms, people are sent notifications for every comment on the post, and if a follower is gonna get 100 notifications for meaningless comments they might unfollow, or start ignoring them all together.

4. Follow accounts in your niche. It supports others, and makes you a part of a community. You follow, you like and comment, and before you know it, you are everywhere.

3. Add value, make sure that your posts and comments add some value to those who see them. Don’t just post for the sake of posting.

2. Plan your content!! Plan your strategy, plan the tone you want to set.

1. Be sure to go over your profile once a week, check out the analytics, see what worked and what didn’t and make informed decisions.

There are so many other tips I will be happy to share in future posts, of coarse thank you for your support.

I love you.
