Everywhere Here
I have been moving since I was an infant.
First moved out of my biological Mom’s body, then when she placed me in a cardboard box in the streets of Fortaleza, Brazil.
From there I moved to an orphanage, from there to a hotel, after about 6 months my new parents took me to my new home in Israel, which we left 5 years later to move to the United States. We moved to Chevy Chase, then to Rockville, we lived at a one room one bed long term rental apt.
Then moved not too far from there to a nice big rental home.
During Summer vacation my Mom brother and I would fly to Israel, and then move back again for the school year.
5 years later we moved to Israel for good and a few years after that, we moved to our current home.
We had a computer in the house since I can remember. When the 90’s came and brought the World Wide Web I became obsessed with making friends, relationships and connections with people all over the world.
I had always had trouble making friends, and staying in the same place. Maybe the two were related. Most of my teen years, I was trying to be anywhere but here. Moved cities, flown to countries, moved with other families, moved in with strangers….I even ventured to Billings Montana, I was gonna start a new life there.
Since 2018 I have been living here in my family home. The good thing about moving around in the same place is that you see yourself from different angles.
I will definitely go back to the nomad life but only after I am done exploring everywhere here.
