From Struggle to Manifestation: How I Changed My Reality with the Law of Attraction

I work as an emergency dispatcher in Israel. As you can imagine, it’s a complicated job. I’ve been working here for over two years, and I can tell you wholeheartedly, I love my job. But it wasn’t always this way. Six months in, I was already trying to find another dispatch job, thinking it would solve my problems. I was miserable at work.

At first, I didn’t give it a second thought. I just knew that my job sucked, that I dreaded going to work, I suffered while I was there, and my autoimmune disease would flare up more than usual. It seemed like there was no way out.

I’ve been a sex worker since I was 14. I’ve worked on the streets, as an escort, with pimps, as a dominatrix at clubs, and even ran sessions from my home. Later, I got into digital marketing for escort services and brothels — they need advertising too — until I got clean from hard drugs in 2019.

When I heard about OnlyFans, it seemed like a good deal to me. I knew it wouldn’t be easy money — I’ve been in digital marketing since 2005, and nothing about starting a business is easy. People think you can just hang up a shingle and the clients will come, but it doesn’t work that way. Digital marketing can be incredibly lucrative, but you have to be consistent and put in the work.

Around that same time, I learned about the Law of Attraction. It wasn’t by accident; I now know I was sending out messages to the universe, looking for another way, and the universe answered. I bought the book *The Secret*, and it all made so much sense to me. I was determined to make it work. Again, this wasn’t a one-time deal or a quick fix. I went on to read Rhonda Byrne’s other books, watched YouTube videos, and read blogs. The first change I noticed was my awareness of the negative thoughts running through my head most of the day. Slowly, I made small changes — one thought at a time — and it’s amazing to see how things fell into place.

The Law of Attraction is based on a simple principle: our thoughts shape our reality. It doesn’t necessarily bring us what we want, but rather what we think about most. That’s why it’s so important to be mindful of our thoughts and to be clear with our intentions. If we focus on negative thoughts — like “I hate my job” — even if deep down we want to love our job, what we’re sending out to the universe is still that negativity. The universe doesn’t distinguish between wanting and not wanting; it simply responds to the energy we emit.

To change my thoughts, I used a “fake it till you make it” approach. I would try to reword the negative thoughts that entered my mind. For example, instead of repeating to myself, “I have a headache,” I would take action — like taking a pill — and then tell myself, “My headache is going away,” or I’d shift my focus entirely to something else whenever the thought “I have a headache” came up. This takes practice, but it works. The secret is to believe that it will happen, even if it doesn’t feel true at first. Over time, you can “brainwash” yourself into shifting from negative to positive thinking.

It’s also crucial to be aware of how we phrase things. If I tell myself, “I don’t want my shift to suck,” the focus is still on the shift sucking, and that’s the energy I’m putting out. Instead, I learned to say, “It’s going to be a good shift.” It’s a small change, but it makes all the difference in what we manifest. A lot of times, we assume the worst will happen, but that’s just a habit — a muscle we can train. Just like the worst could happen, the best could also happen. Instead of saying, “I’m never going to find parking,” I now tell myself, “There’s going to be parking,” and I visualize arriving and seeing the spot waiting for me.

I’ve been able to manifest many things in my life. I visualized making enough money on OnlyFans to work just one shift a week, and eventually, that’s what happened. I also wanted flexibility in my job, and I successfully manifested a work schedule where I only have to work as little as I need. Even my feelings toward my job changed once I focused on changing my mindset. I tackled each negative thought with the tools I learned — replacing them with positive, constructive thoughts. It’s not always easy, but it’s also not as hard as we think, and it works. It’s all in our heads.

The Law of Attraction isn’t magic; it’s about aligning your thoughts with the reality you want to create. When you focus on what you want, you emit positive energy, and the universe responds in kind. The only thing standing between me and my dreams is my own mind, but I’ve come a long way. Remember, change your thoughts, and you change your reality. The universe is always listening — make sure it hears what you truly want.
